This weather station is privately owned and operated. And it is not affiliated with the City of Gig Harbor, WA. The station is located at a private residence in Gig Harbor, WA. near Peacock Hill. It is one mile north from downtown Gig Harbor.

Heavy snow blanketed the west central valleys and southwest mountains of Colorado with up to 18 inches of snow. Nine cities from the Mid Mississippi Valley to the Middle Atlantic Coast Region reported record low temperatures for the date, including Fort Wayne IND with a reading of 23 degrees.
